Councilmember Debora Juarez is a trusted leader for all North Seattle citizens and businesses. She has lived in our community for over 30 years and is proud to be the first Native American citizen elected to the Seattle City Council.
As an attorney for over 30 years, Debora has fought for the rights of Native Americans while also serving as a King County Superior Court judge in the public sector. Her work in the private sector as a fund manager led to the creation of many jobs and economic development projects across our state. As our District 5 Councilmember, DEBORA JUAREZ continues to be a trailblazer and advocate for improved public transit, helping our homeless neighbors, and the creation of affordable housing.
The Seattle Fire Fighters Local 27 is proud to support DEBORA JUAREZ in her re-election to City Council because she is a champion for public safety and our First Responders.
