A fire broke out Thursday afternoon at a Boeing office building at 16th Avenue South and East Marginal Way South in Seattle.
The fire was reported at 4:22 p.m., and the Seattle Fire Department said at about 5 p.m. that it had been extinguished. The building was evacuated, and no injuries were reported, according to fire officials.

SEATTLE — Traffic along I-5 North in Seattle was snarled for hours Thursday evening after a UPS semi caught fire and burned, blocking much of the freeway into the early night hours. The truck was heading north near S. Oregon Street around 7 p.m. when the truck's cab exploded and began to burn, according to Trooper Chase Van Cleave with the Washington State Patrol. Parts of the semi went onto the southbound lane of I-5.

Seattle, WA: Just after 9:45 p.m., Seattle Fire department received a report of an exterior fire in the 3200 block of 37th Avenue South in Seattle's Mt. Baker neighborhood. Upon arriving, crews found that the fire had extended in back side of two homes. Crews initiated an aggressive fire attack and were able to get the fire under control in about thirty minutes.
